Codman Square farmer's market CSA: payment due June 18
Another quick reminder: the Codman Square Farmer's Market CSA (community supported agriculture) begins in June. Payment for the CSA is due June 18.
A full share (think two large shopping bags of food) is $550; a half share is $325. Pickup is on Thursdays, 1-6 pm, from June 25th until October 29th in the parking lot of the Codman Square Health Center. That's 19 weeks of locally grown (Silverbook Farms is located in Dartmouth, MA) organic produce. All of the details are in the attached PDF brochure. Not only do you get VIP treatment--your food is packed and set aside; you get the latest produce before it's available in the farmer's market and you can trade with other CSA recipients--purchasing a CSA underwrites the ability for Silverbrook to sell their produce less expensively to Dorchester residents and ensures farm workers a living wage.
